About Us

          Coach Henry Martinez is the Head Baseball Coach of Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland and Director of 5 Star Mid-Atlantic MD. He has won several awards and championships throughout his career.

          For more than 5 years, Coach Henry has taken groups to the Dominican Republic to train and compete against some of the best academies in the country.

          Along with playing baseball, his high school group led several community service projects such as renovating fields, repairing homes in the community, volunteering at orphanages, donating equipment to youth sports groups, and funding a scholarship to help two young women complete their college and graduate degrees. 

          Coach Henry has partnered with the Juan Uribe Academy to create Camp Palenquero.  Camp Palenquero aspires to create the same impact for players, families, and serving the needs of the local community.
